My journey in counselling initially began through my own healing experience of being a client. I discovered how transformative it can be to have the time and space to talk freely, to be listened to without judgment, and to begin to understand myself more deeply. That experience inspired me to train as a counsellor so that I could offer the same sense of support and safety to others.
As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of approaches so that our work together can fit you as an individual — because no two people are the same.

I am a qualified integrative counsellor, registered member of the BACP, and I hold the following qualifications:

I work in a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental way, helping you to explore what’s happening for you at your own pace.

Sometimes that might mean talking things through; other times, you may feel using creative or reflective ways may help you explore and express what's happening for you.

Together, we can look at the challenges you’re facing, reflect on how they affect you, and work towards greater self-understanding, acceptance and growth.

I offer sessions from a therapy room in my garden in Witham, Essex. This is within easy reach for people from Wickham Bishops, Maldon, Heybridge, Great Totham, Hatfield Peverel, Nounsley, Terling, Kelvedon, and Rivenhall.
Online therapy sessions are also available via Zoom, allowing for greater flexibility for those who do not wish to travel.
I currently work with adult individuals (18+). Sessions cost £50 and last 50 minutes, and usually take place weekly.
The first session is a little different — I offer this as a double session (around 1 hour 40 minutes), as there is often a lot to talk about at the start and it’s important to have the time and space to share what brings you to counselling.
This initial session is also an opportunity for you to get a sense of how I work and to see whether you feel I’m the right person for you.
You will only be charged for one standard session (£50), as the first 50 minutes are free.
I offer both short-term and longer-term therapy, depending on what feels right for you. If you would like to book a block of sessions in advance, I offer a 10% discount when booking six sessions together.
I also have a limited number of concessionary spaces for those on a low income — please contact me if you’d like to discuss this further.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about how therapy works, or to arrange an initial assessment appointment. This enables us to discuss the reasons you are thinking of coming to therapy, whether it could be helpful for you and whether I am the right therapist to help.
You can also call me on 07749023002 if you would prefer to leave a message or speak to me first. I am happy to discuss any queries or questions you may have prior to arranging an initial appointment.
All enquires are usually answered within 24 hours, and all contact is strictly confidential and uses secure phone and email services.
